This pretty mandala style Afghan square, works up to be approximately 10-12″ depending on the hook size used.
Perfect for joining together to create a blanket or even extending the granny stitch rows to create a cushion cover of your desired size..

You will need:
- Dk yarn – recommended cotton or cotton blend 50-60g 115-138m however acrylic also works well 🙂
- 3mm hook for 10” square
- 4mm hook for 12..5” square
Stitches used in the pattern include (US terms):
- Mr = Magic ring
- Sc = single crochet
- Hdc = half double crochet
- Dc = double crochet
- Htc = half triple crochet
- Tc = Triple crochet
- Slst = slip stitch
- Chsp = chain space
- St = stitch
- Xdc = X dc’s in the next st
- DcX = dc in next X stitches
- Dcxtog = dc x st together
- skx = skip x stitches
Gauge is unimportant however tension may affect the finished size.
